31 Years | 31 Days | Atlanta

 

In an effort to infuse arts and culture through jazz throughout metropolitan Atlanta, the City of Atlanta Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA) created its signature “31 Days of Jazz” series as a part of the Annual Atlanta Jazz Festival.  Featuring partnerships with entertainment venues to celebrate Jazz in May, the goal is to bring jazz to diverse venues and raise the profile of the Atlanta Jazz Festival and its participating partners.

NEIGHBORHOOD JAZZ (NJ) – 4 Atlanta neighborhoods over 4 weekends in May.  Neighborhood Jazz was created to celebrate the best of jazz in and around Atlanta.  NJ highlights local Atlanta neighborhoods  - Castleberry Hill, Virginia Highland, Midtown and will culminate over Memorial Day Weekend, May 24 -26, in downtown Atlanta at Woodruff Park, located on Auburn Avenue.  We will celebrate each of these neighborhoods and their respective establishments that provide great jazz entertainment. 

 

DINNER+JAZZ – An exceptional dinning experience while enjoying great live music from Atlanta’s most talented jazz artists in the city’s most popular restaurants…

ECCLECTIC JAZZ – Simply jazz in diverse places…

JAZZ ETC. – Special Events and Concerts around the city…

NIGHTLIFE – Offering the renowned sounds of live jazz nightly at bars and nightclubs throughout the Metro Atlanta.
